About Me. 

My name is Logan and I work full time at the Ministry of Social Development although my future career interests include Counselling and Law. I'm a Christian and have been for 6 years and attend Te Atatu Baptist Church. My interests include Computers, Shakespeare and Texas Hold'em Poker and I'm happily in a long term relationship. I've lived in Auckland City for my whole life. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. During my time with the Ministry of Social Development I have encountered many people with depression. It is a very serious illness and no matter what the level of your depression you may have it can still effect you, your life and the people around you. I've been wondering what I can do to help others with this illness, and when I was searching the Internet for Counsellors I discovered that the price range is from $70 - $100 NZD per hour. I decided that for those of you who have depression (minor to medium) and just want someone to talk to and to understand how you're feeling you shouldn't need to spend those amounts of money.

I have helped alot of my close friends through hard times, such as death of a loved one, harrassment (of any form), doubt about certain areas of life and even low self esteem. I have minor depression, but with the right support, someone to listen and a good friend to talk to it makes life easier and well worth the effort.
